Blessings! I was called to Ministry in 1999 and would have appreciated such a profound experience to Learn to impart the word of God In such a profound manner. It is so vital for young ministers to have this program available. I pray that it would touch souls and inspire tnew Ministers and strengthen them along their journey.

This preaching workshop is designed to be a live, interactive event, so a full recording won’t be available afterwards. We hope you can join us live, but if not, there will be other opportunities to engage as the Proclamation Project takes shape later this year.

Congratulations to all who worked toward receiving this grant. As a lay person, I cherish preaching that challenges, encourages, enlightens, and sustains in words that are memorable. As a past Board member of Disciples Seminary Foundation, I hope that the resources developed will be available to seminarians, too.

Having preached for over 50 years as a Disciples pastor, and served 6+ years as one of its associate regional ministers, and in ecumenical service, this is a joy to hear. If I were younger (88) I’ll take them up on this. I hope many will be investing time in this opportunity for growth in being “a joy to hear” for people today.
